Griping from heel to toe, the herringbone pattern of the G.T. Cut Academy's herringbone pattern is perfect for changes of direction and fast movements.
Responsiveness: moderate
The more responsive the shoe, the greater the energy return when you change direction, pivot and drive towards the basket. With a responsive shoe, your stride becomes more dynamic and you can stay fast until the end of the game. The Zoom Air unit under the midsole in the forefoot speeds up your game when the match intensifies.
Cushioning: moderate
The thicker the underfoot cushioning, the more comfortable the shoe. We've layered two layers of foam in the midsole for an unreal level of comfort and support. Perfect for long basketball sessions on unforgiving surfaces.

Too bad the rear sole isn't wider for greater stability. That's why I gave them a 4 star rating and not a 5.
Otherwise great comfort, very good cushioning, ergonomic insole, light, and indeed a very good grip: great for starting and accelerating
