Adidas : Boost
BOOST technology is the latest major innovation from adidas. Unlike the EVA foam soles found in most current models, BOOST provides unique cushioning and energy return. The aim is to synthesize all the energy in the capsules visible on the BOOST sole and to release this energy through these same cells to give the shoe a feeling of elasticity and lightness, making the running experience unique. This BOOST sole was first integrated into shoes designed for running, and has since been incorporated into other types of models, whether for basketball or street-wear. The first pair of sneakers to benefit from this technology was the CrazyLight Boost released at the end of 2014, which had BOOST only on the heel, then the D Rose 5 was the first adidas signature model with BOOST, however there was only a minimal amount of BOOST on these pairs. The latest adidas models, the CrazyLight Boost 2015, the CrazyLight Boost 2.5 or the D Rose 6, now incorporate this technology to a greater extent, allowing the full benefits of the energy return provided by this sole to be enjoyed. Many NBA players, such as James Harden, Andrew Wiggins, Derrick Rose and Kyle Lowry, have been won over by this technology's contribution to their game.
Finally, this technology has been incorporated into Kanye West's entire Yeezy collection, demonstrating the aesthetic and technological quality that BOOST represents.
