Nike : Flyknit
The Flyknit is a major innovation from the brand with the swoosh, and is the brand's lightest upper, made with a fine, solid weave that gives the impression of wearing nothing on the foot.
Since its launch in 2012, Flyknit has been omnipresent in new Nike collections, whether for performance products or Nike Sportswear.
Like most of the brand's technologies, the Flyknit was designed for running, before being adapted for basketball with the Nike Kobe 9 Elite, a technology found on all the latest Kobe Bryant models.
The Nike Flyknit is designed to make the shoe lighter, but above all as comfortable as possible, by conforming to the shape of the foot and providing full support for the wearer. What's more, the upper is made in one piece, with very few if any seams, which makes it lighter and allows it to follow every movement of the foot in the shoe, creating the appearance of a second skin once the shoe is on the foot. The Flyknit adds stability, support and durability to the shoe, which is essential for a player like Black Mamba whose game is based on foot-work.
Flyknit can be found on several Nike Basketball models, including the Kobe 10 Elite, the Kobe 11 Elite and the Air Jordan XXX.
