I'm an unconditional fan of the Nike brand, for their shoes!... the Jordan line, moreover, is top notch.
I have sneakers from other brands, which are more than decent, but Nike is the crème de la crème!... they're like "slippers"!... by that I mean, technically and performance-wise, they're very, very good!... but what, for me, makes the difference with other brands, is the comfort (in general, too) which is optimum... hence the slipper metaphor... their "Air" system, however basic, and all its variations, Zoom, React, has revolutionized the sports shoe!
Manufacturing quality, sturdiness and durability are also criteria in which they have long excelled.
I'm 45 and I've been "practicing" Nike for a long time now.
And for the first time, I've had some disappointments... the quality of manufacture, it gives me the impression of being shoddy, cheap...
I don't find the comfort of a Nike, with the Air system...
At first, the upper gave me a little pain and irritation, but that's gone now. Of course, the shoe has to "get used to it"
It's a shame, and disappointing all the same.
Sad, because it's a beautiful sneaker.
