Nike Air + Zoom Air = speed and stability throughout the game. The upper is lower and the design lighter than on the previous version. This makes the shoe ideal for game after game.
Cushioning and comfort
The lightweight Nike Air unit under the upper gives Kevin Durant all the cushioning and comfort he needs to play his season.
Speed heaven
Kevin Durant loved the feel of the 15. That's why we took inspiration from the previous version before adding a Zoom Air unit in the forefoot under the midsole for more energy and responsiveness during high-speed movement. The full-length reactive foam is soft and comfortable.
Grooves and freedom of movement
Grooves and ribs in the sole guarantee multidirectional grip and exceptional feel. A rigid element under the arch enhances stability and ensures a smooth transition from heel to toe.
Immediate comfort
The multi-layer mesh upper is lightweight and structured for immediate comfort. Added thickness in targeted areas helps keep the foot in place by reducing movement inside the shoe.
Like clockwork
The outsole resembles the gears of a watch, mimicking KD's inner workings and methodical nature.
